This state of the art hilltop wooden house is designed by leading architect David Travalia, handcrafted by local craftsmen with top quality Tasmanian timber such as huon pine, celery top, blackwood and myrtle. The retreat is like a live museum for native Tasmanian timber species. The architecture artfully separates the different function areas with bi-level design according to how the hill lies, open design for living, yoga and kitchen areas, high ceiling plus maximize use of double glazed windows to best appreciate the view and all year round sun.
The house is 250 square meters in size. The Retreat has four bedrooms can accommodate 10 adult.

- Family room with a double bed and single bed
Your living area includes a comfy sofa, chaise lounge, TV with DVD player, Netflix/Youtube/Internet access, blue tooth speakers, a floor to ceiling bookshelf full of interesting books and two fireplaces to make the house toasty warm.
The open plan modern kitchen is fully equipped with high-quality appliances and includes all you need to cook up a storm while enjoying picturesque views and a glass of Tassie wine.
Adding to the indoor space, the house has two adjoining viewing decks and two balconies for intimate contact with nature, watch the morning sunrise, sun baking, enjoy tea or a glass of wine with a loved one or simply just enjoy a breathtaking view and wild animals chatting nearby.
Relax with a glass of sparkling in the luxurious Jacuzzi while enjoying the view of the surrounding bushland.
This basic rate is for two person stay. Extra guest cost $50 N/P, Infants younger than two years old are free of charge. Baby cot on request.
The room rate includes continental breakfast, tea/coffee and snacks, basic cooking ingredients such as cooking oil, seasoning, rice/pasta/noodles, plus a range of spices. All bedding, towels and toiletries are provided.
